SunRisers Hyderabad have let go off two of their iconic players David Warner and Rashid Khan and this has drawn flak from the franchise’s loyal supporters.
While SRH management had already been in the firing line for ill-treating David Warner this year by dropping him from the first team, their latest decision to let go off Rashid Khan came as a shocker.
The team management is implying that Rashid wanted to part ways with the franchise. But fans are opining that the franchise’s core management should have been more persuasive when it comes to retaining Rashid, the No. 1 ranked T20 bowler in the world.
SRH retained three players – Kane Williamson, Abdul Samad, Umran Malik. The franchise will be without the services of David Warner and Rashid Khan, two of their biggest match-winners over the past few seasons.
