All adults in US eligible for Covid-19 vaccine by April 19: Joe Biden

With rapidly increasing Covid-19 cases in the United States, President Joe Biden has taken a crucial decision to make all adults across America eligible for Covid-19 shots from April 19.

Biden announced in a White House speech that he is pushing up the deadline for all over 18 to be eligible for vaccines to April 19. The previous target had been May 1.

The president has also warned the people that new variants of Coronavirus are spreading quickly with a record number of cases being registered each passing day. He added that the pandemic remains dangerous, and encouraged Americans to continue following the Covid-19 precautions like washing hands, maintaining social distance and others.

As per the reports, as many as 5,56,000 people in the US have died from Covid-19, which is the highest toll reported in any country.
