Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar’s Valimai is released in Telugu with the same title. The makers announced that the film will be getting a wide theatrical release in the Telugu states as well.
Coming to the box office prospects of Valimai, the film has done reasonably good theatrical business in the Telugu states.
The Telugu-language theatrical rights of Valimai were sold for Ra 4.50 crores on ratio basis. The film will have to collect in upwards of Rs 5.5 – 6 crores if it is to enter the profits zone.
Valimai is a proper action thriller directed by H Vinoth. The film has Ajith Kumar and talented young Telugu actor Karthikeya in the lead roles. Karthikeya plays the antagonist in the film.
The film will be out in theatres from the 13th of this month. More promotional material to follow.
