There are various sources that favor the transmission of the COVID-19 virus and direct contact is proved to be fatal among them. Now, many cases are being reported across the world to the people who are not directly contacted with the infected patients and don’t have any travel history.
So, the researchers started studying the ways of Novel Corona Virus’ transmission and found a shocking fact. The Italian university researches collected 30 samples of the polluted air particles from various places and witnessed the presence of the COVID-19 in many of the densely formed dust particles.
Hence, it is proved that the people who live in polluted areas have a high risk for COVID-19 infection. The dust particles in these areas carry the COVID-19 virus along with them as their density withholds the virus.
Along with this, smoking and dirty air increase the risk of chronic illnesses that leave patients more vulnerable to COVID-19, such as heart disease, asthma, and lung cancer.
