Actor Chandra Mohan puts an end to his acting career

From playing minor roles to emerging as a male lead, veteran actor Chandra Mohan has done it all. Having made his film debut in 1966 with ‘Rangula Ratnam’, he has acted in countless films for the last 55 years.

On the occasion of his 81st birthday, Chandra Mohan on Sunday officially declared his retirement. The senior actor cited health-related issues as the reason for taking such a decision.

He has acted in over 900 films in South Indian languages ​​so far. He played MGR’s brother in the 1975 film ‘Naalai Namadhe’. He acted in some Tamil films and later focused only on Telugu.

Chandra Mohan was last seen in the film Allu Arjun starrer Duvvada Jagannadham. Even during the shoot of the film, the actor faced suffered health issues and since then he bid adieu to his acting career. As per reports, Chandra Mohan underwent bypass surgery after Jr NTR’s Rakhi.
