Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya is one of the first Telugu biggies to be postponed due to the second wave of Covid outbreak. The film was initially slated for worldwide theatrical release on 13th May but it has been indefinitely postponed now.
Meanwhile, the latest reports suggest that Acharya might be hitting the silver screens across the globe this August.
Chiranjeevi will be celebrating his birthday on 22nd August and the makers of Acharya want to make this August a special month for his fans and followers by releasing Acharya.
Koratala Siva and Chiranjeevi have principally agreed for the August release proposal. The final call will be taken after the shooting is wrapped up and there is a clearer idea of theatrical revenues.
Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan will be completing the remaining portion of Acharya once the conditions favour film shootings.
