In a heart-wrenching incident, 16-year-old SSC student from Neredmet, Hyderabad have ended her life due to her parents’ poverty and unaffordable school fees. Identified as Yashasvini, the tenth-grade girl could not bear the harassment of the school management after she failed to clear her dues.
As per reports, Hariprasad and Sunitha, of Ongole district in Andhra Pradesh moved to Hyderabad 15 years ago along with their three daughters. Working as construction labourers, their two elder daughters are in college, while the youngest daughter Yashasvini was studying SSC at Ravindra Bharathi High School at Neredmet.
A few of days ago, the school management asked Yashasvini to pay the fee without fail. She returned home and informed her parents the same. On Thursday, when no one is in the home, the young girl, who was in depression, forcefully gave up on her life. When her younger sister returned home in the evening, she found all doors closed from inside. When the door was opened, they found Yashasvini dead inside the home.
Police rushed to the spot and filed the case under section 174 CrPC and started the investigation.
