With the rampant spread of Covid-19, there seem to be no signs of its reduction around the corner. The two Telugu states witnessed the worst ever hit pandemic unprecedentedly, where thousands of positive cases are being reported. However the recovery rate too grew proportionally.
Recently news reports surfaced that a 103 years old from Ernakulam in Kerala recovered from novel corona.
Of late, 103-year-old Paruchuri Ramaswamy from Hyderabad too has won the battle over the covid-19. Twenty-seven people were infected with corona in a nursing home run by the CR Foundation, some of them in Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS), others in Gandhi and King Koti hospitals, and most of the critically ill were treated at a naturopathic hospital.
Ramaswamy, who was treated at TIMS, recovered from the corona and reached the CR Foundation on Thursday.
On the occasion, CPI national secretary Narayana said that two of the Covid victims had died and the rest had recovered. He said services in government hospitals in the state have improved. He thanked the government doctors, nurses, other staff and health minister Etala Rajender for their persistent efforts in serving the corona victims.
