Recently Sanja Galrani was captured by Karnataka Central crime branch in Sandalwood drug mafia case after Ragini Dwivedi’s arrest.
Sanjana’s parents Manohar and Reshma Galrani went to the Parappana Agrahara jail on Thursday to provide food and clothing to Sanjana. The prison staff had only taken the clothes and rejected food, fruit juice and chocolates. Another actress Ragini was being in jail since four days. She did not leave her room even though she had the opportunity to wander outside their barracks. After Sanjana’s arrest both were put together as jail mates.
The two spent some time reading the books they had brought with them and were provided with the same food as ordinary prisoners in prison. Authorities allowed both to speak with family members and a lawyer in accordance with prison rules. Later Sanjana complained to the jail authorities that the mosquitoes were biting and also created ruckus by saying she was sleepless. Sanjana is expected to appear before the judge today via video conference.
The Central Crime Branch (CCB) has nabbed Ragini Dwivedi, Sanjana Galrani, Niyaz, Ravi, Shankar, Rahul, Viren Khanna, Loom Pepper and Prateek Shetty so far. According to Pepper, Benald Udenna, an African national, was the one who supplied drugs to Ravi and Viren for rave parties.
