On one hand, with raining arrests of B town actors in drug cartel, sexual abuse allegations have started to erupt on the other hand. Bollywood is undoubtedly going through a bad phase in 2020 like never before.
Now as per the latest reports, Mumbai Police have booked a case against versatile actor Mithun Chakraborty aka Mithun da’s son Mahaakshay and the former’s wife Yogita Bali on charges of rape and betrayal as complained by a woman.
The case was filed at Oshiwara police station on Thursday night based on the complaint given by the 38-year- old woman. The complainant was in a relationship with Mahaakshay Chakraborty from 2015 to 2018 and he had promised to marry her, an official stated.
The statement says, the woman claims that she has paid a visit at Mahaakshay’s residence at Adarsh Nagar in Andheri West, which he had owned in 2015. Reportedly, when the 38 yr old lady went there, the accused made her take spiked soft drink and tried to abuse her sexually.
As per accusations of rape cited by the woman, when she got impregnanted, Mahaakshay compelled her to abort the baby using pills. The complainant said she always asked Mahaakshay about their marriage. But in January 2018, he allegedly ditched her saying he cannot marry her, which led to a quarrel between them and consequently she lodged the case.
