Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s letter to the Chief Justice of India has been met with widespread criticism everywhere. Even the BJP is openly criticising the CM’s letter to the CJI, and has said that it wouldn’t support any sort of impeachment of the High Court judges.
Speaking to the media, BJP State General Secretary PVN Madhav said that while the BJP doesn’t support the impeachment of HC judges, he said that the BJP believes that the TDP manipulated the judges to get judgments with respect to Amaravati lands in their favor.
He also said that it is very clear that there was insider trading in Amaravati, in TDP, very well evidenced by the fact that the TDP has been openly supporting the judges following Jagan’s letter to the CJI.
Madhav also said that the BJP is determined on explaining how the three new farm laws will help them, at the launch of the Jana Jagaran program. He even addressed the fact that the TDP failed to give the farmers of Amaravati the lands that they promised to give them. Madhav criticised the YSRCP at the same time, saying that the YSRCP too failed to do the same.
Madhav even said that the YSRCP is no better than the TDP, given that there was insider trading between the members of the YSRCP in Visakhapatnam. He even said that the YSRCP is hell bent on making Visakhapatnam the executive capital of the state, despite the fact that the people of Visakhapatnam are not even remotely interested in that.
Furthermore, Madhav said that the BJP would support a CBI probe into the land issues of Amaravati, and even questioned why Jagan was the least bothered about the farmers of Amaravati.
