There has been a news trending over the media that Indian Railways is cancelling regular trains till September 30th. It is a fact that Indian Government did this sort of thing before when announcing the nationwide lock down. As soon as this news went out into the social media, chaos situation started among people.
Railway Ministry came out to the social media to clarify on the news saying that it is not true and Indian Railways won’t be cancelling regular trains soon. No new circular has been issued by the Ministry and the trains will continue to run.
With the raising Corona cases in India and few states reporting the condition to be uncontrollable, Indian Government is expected to take lock down action. Hence, this sort of fake news might create problems in the public and Railway Ministry is quick enough to clarify it before things go bad.
