The center has already indicated that the Lockdown will be lifted on the intended time, April 14 and asked the people to stay alert, alarmed and responsible like they are in this lockdown period. But the words of the central government are not matching with their actions as the Railway Minister Piyush Goyal’s recent interaction is creating more doubts about the lockdown.
If the Railway services are going to resume from April 15th, the bookings should have been opened and after Prime Minster’s indication about lifting the lockdown many people thought that the bookings will be opened shortly.
But the Railway Minister Piyush Goyal met with Railway board chairman and later announced that any decision regarding the resumption of the services will be taken after April 14th and also clarified that haven’t issued any orders yet and are not going issue either until the lockdown gets lifted.
If the railway services are going to resume, the railway department will open the booking at least before 10 days and now some are concluding that this is a hint of the extension of the lockdown. So this scenario suggests that Modi’s words about the lockdown came out to restrict the chaos about the extension of lockdown.
