BJP leader Somu Veerraju made some sensational statements today and became the talk of the political circles. In spite of the BJP’s wave across the country, it is known that the Lotus party could not win even a single seat in the last assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
But as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has closed the doors for the other party MLAs, saying that he would invite them into YSRCP, only if they resign to their posts, BJP had got benefited with it. Senior leaders of TDP are slowly shifting towards the Lotus Party and are thus hinting that there is a scope for the national party in the next elections of AP.

In this backdrop, Somu Veerraju said that all the 23 TDP MLAs would soon join BJP and thus the Lotus party would make an impact in the AP assembly. He said that the TDP leader Ganta Srinivasa Rao had met him and discussed prevailing political situation in the state.
But it should be noted that Somu made such comments even in the past, but nothing of that sort took place then. So a few consider that even the latest comments of the BJP leader cannot be taken seriously, opining that as he might be doing such comments, only to stay in the limelight.
