Akhil Akkineni had a new theatrical release with Agent today. The film is being termed a costly misfire. It has to be seen where it will end up at the box office in its full run, although things look very bleak for now.
The latest we hear is that Akhil is on the verge of locking an interesting combination as he looks set to work with Vamsi Paidipally for his next.
Vamsi’s last Telugu film was Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi and he then moved to Tamil for Varasudu. He had been in talks to direct Akhil for a film for a while now.
Finally, the collaboration appears to be happening as Akhil and Vamsi Paidipally look set to come together for a film very soon.
This project will be officially announced soon. It will be a family entertainer, it seems. More details will follow in the due course.
