One of the most powerful combinations in Tollywood is that of director Boyapati Srinu and Nandamuri Balakrishna. The two collaborated for three films so far, and all three of them turned out to be massive hits, with their most recent film, Akhanda, turning out to be the biggest hit of their respective careers.
The duo planned to collaborate for a film right ahead of the 2024 elections and to release it in time for the elections. However, it now seems as though this might not happen, as Boyapati reportedly wants some more time to fine tune the script for the film.
In the meantime, Balayya is focused on his film with director Anil Ravipudi, and is yet to finalise his next films. Boyapati is currently busy with his film with Ram Pothineni.
