The YSRCP government, with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy serving as the Chief Minister of the state, has seen more downs than ups, with almost every plan that the government made so far going for a toss. There aren’t good roads in the state, and absolutely no developmental measures have been taken in the state in the last three years. The YSRCP government has received more slack than appreciation, for everything it has done to date.
The government has also been unable to meet with the demand for electricity in the state, with some places experiencing power cuts up to 12 hours a day. Even major cities in the state have been suffering due to power cuts, and the tariffs have been increased by a lot, causing a major burden to the people of the state.
Now, the demand for electricity is said to have further increased in the state, and Jagan is said to have passed orders to make sure that there’s enough coal for the demand in the coming days. He is said to have instructed the concerned officials to make sure that there’s electricity everywhere in the state on all days. However, considering that the supply of coal has only been decreasing consistently, while the demand for electricity has been increasing, it is to be seen if the Jagan government would be able to meet with the electricity demands in the state.
