Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s much-awaited film Bimbisara is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on August 5, 2022. Ahead of the release, the makers announced that the movie was certified with a U/A certificate from the censor board. The official runtime of Bimbisara is 146 minutes.
The movie is about King Bimbisara landing in the modern-day world through time travel. The movie is said to be a completely fictional tale partially set against the 5th century BCE king Bimbisara.
Directed by Mallidi Vashist, Bimbisara has Samyuktha Menon and Catherine Tresa playing the leading ladies opposite Kalyan Ram. Bankrolled by NTR Arts production house, the movie also stars Warina Hussain, Vennela Kishore, Prakash Raj, Brahmaji, Srinivasa Reddy and others in key roles.
