Chennai Super Kings player Deepak Chahar proposed to his girlfriend Jaya Bharadwaj after CSK’ final league match in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 season on Thursday.
Minutes after the match between CSK and Punjab Kings ended in Dubai, the pacer went down on one knee and proposed Jaya, who said yes. The CSK ownership then arranged a party for the loving couple. At first, the two cut the cake and fed each other. After that, the actual celebrations started.
Dhoni, Raina, Jadeja, Shardul Thakur and Robin had showered Chahar with cake and drinks. While Dhoni and Raina’s daughters made a fuss at the ceremony, Dhoni’s wife Sakshi wished Jaya Bhardwaj.

Meanwhile, the CSK team suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of Punjab in yesterday’s match. CSK might have lost the match, nonetheless, it was a happy moment for the CSK pacer and all his teammates.
