Inside Talk: YSRCP’s internal politics worsen as local elections close in..?

A lot of political tension is brewing between the members of the YSRCP, especially between the members belonging to Nellore district.

Ahead of the local elections, not all is well between the MLAs of the district, and the other members of the YSRCP. Several members occupying higher positions have tried to sort things about between everyone, but things have reportedly gone in vain.

Coming to Minister Anil Kumar, everyone is reportedly very unhappy with his working style, as he is reportedly not including anyone in anything, especially MLAs, and is going about things on his own. It is being said that there has been no use in making Minister Gautham Reddy the incharge of the local elections, as he is not able to put an end to the whims and fancies of people like Anil Kumar.

Government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishnareddy, Ministers Peddireddy Ramachandrareddy, Minister in charge Balineni Srinivasa Reddy and Minister Mekapati, have all gathered at Gautham Reddy’s camp office, to discuss about the upcoming lcoal elections. Minister Anil Kumar, MLAs Anam Ramanarayanareddy, Kakani Govarthan Reddy, Nallapareddy Prasannakumar Reddy, Ramireddy Pratap Kumar Reddy, Kiliveti Sanjeevayya, Varaprasad have all attended this meeting as well.

During this meeting, several MLAs and other members are said to have expressed their feelings to the senior members. One MLA is said to have asked the senior members to take care of the elections, as the MLAs are not being given due importance by the high command, despite being loyal to the party over the past several years.

Another MLA is said to have gotten serious about the fact that people who have come to the party recently are being given more importance than the ones who have been here for a while now. A few other people are said to have felt extremely bad by the way they were dealt with, in the CM’s meeting, on Republic day.

With so many differences brewing up, and the senior members not being able to calm things down, it is to be seen if the CM will step in and save his party, or if the YSRCP will continue making headlines this way. If these differences continue, however, the YSRCP may tarnish its own image to the worst point, and not be able to get a good number of seats in the local elections.
