YSRCP to conduct first plenary after coming to power

Before the YSR Congress Party came into power in 2019, it held regular plenaries every year. However, it couldn’t conduct its plenary in 2019 due to the elections, and in 2020 and 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The event and dates have also been finalized, reportedly, with the plenary set to take place over the course of two days, starting July 8th, near Acharya Nagarjuna University in Guntur district.

All the members of the YSRCP have reportedly been instructed to make sure that it is a grand affair and that the event would highlight everything that the YSRCP has done in the last three years, for the people of the state. The main agenda of the plenary is to let the people of the state know why they have to vote for the YSRCP again, by highlighting all the welfare schemes that the YSRCP has put in perfect.

On the other hand, the YSRCP is said to be concerned about the turnout at TDP’s Mahanadu held in Ongole, where a resounding number of people were present, to the extent that no one expected, which boosted the TDP’s confidence for the upcoming elections. It is now to be seen whether or not YSRCP’s plenary will be able to meet those standards or not, through which the people’s opinion on the ruling party will be crystal clear.
