In an interesting turn of events, YSRTP’s YS Sharmila was arrested by Hyderabad police. A case with 9 different penal sections have been filed against Sharmila and 5 of her associates.
This comes hours after the traffic police towed away Sharmila’s car while she was right inside it.
Now that Sharmila has been arrested by Telangana police, all eyes are on her brother, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Jagan hasn’t yet commented about Sharmila’s arrest and it is unclear if he will be doing so either.
YCP’s Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said it is unfortunate that Sharmila is being treated unfairly in Telangana and that’s about it as far as YCP’s stance on the issue goes.
