YS Sharmila accuses of TDP-Jana Sena’s ‘secret pact’

Vijayawada:  YS Sharmila, daughter of former Chief Minister late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy, on Monday accused ‘secret poll deal’ between the Telugu Desam party leader N Chandrababu Naidu and the actor-turned-politician Pavan Kalyan’s Jana Sena, to somehow to recapture power.

“But, people are not fools and they see their ‘dirty game’, she told a news conference which was conveyed to announce her bus Yatra from March 29, which was meant to interact with people across the state.

“As an actor Pavan Kalyan seems acting under new directorship of Chandrababu Naidu to hoodwink people with the ‘Jana Sena’ film,” she alleged.

She claimed that the state was pssing through difficult times due to the misrule of the TDP and its leader Chandrababu Naidu.

“As a common citizen, she wants to appeal to every individual who is going to cast his or her to ponder over, whether any development had taken place during the last five years? Could farmers overcome from distress and feeling better under TDP’s rule? Had youth happy with the so called ‘governance’ claims of Naidu?”

Sharmila said the state had ‘golden era’ only during her late father’s tenure in undivided Andhra Pradesh and those glorious era could be revived only under the leadership of his brother Jaganmohan Reddy, who had been intermingling with every section of the society for the past five years.

She alleged that Naidu let down people of the state by not fulfilling his 2014 election manifesto, which include loan waiver to the farming community. As against Rs 87,000 crore, Naidu could only waive only Rs 24,000 crore.

He had also not honoured the promised to DWACRA women, but now comes up with new scheme ‘Pasupu Kumkuma’ scheme with an outlay of Rs 6000 crore.

She also pointed of classic scams like Polavaram, whose estimated cost was escalated from Ts 14,000 crores to Rs 60,000, only to loot. “Naidu had promised to complete the project in 3 years. Why hasn’t he completed it yet?” she asked.

Sharmila also referred to Amaravati as yet another scam in which the TDP supremo’s proxies and some leaders benefited.

All that Naidu has to show today is 3D graphics and designs from Singapore planners as if local architects and engineers were not competent enough.

“I shall explain all this and more during my interaction with people,” she added.
