The ruling party of Andhra Pradesh YSRCP has swept the Eluru corporation elections by winning a total of 47 out of the total 50 divisions.
Out of the 47 divisions won by YCP, 3 have been claimed by the party already as they were declared unanimous.
In the electoral process, YCP won 44 divisions, taking the tally to 47. The opposition party Telugu Desam won 3 divisions.
The elections were held on 10th March this year and the counting was put on hold. The election commission carried out the counting process today and the results were announced correspondingly.
