Will Japan honor Trump’s opinion on 2020 Olympics?

In spite of the Covid -19 problem, Japan is firm on conducted the Olympics in Tokyo in the mid of this year. The Japanese government is confident that it can handle the hygiene condition in the country.

Interestingly, US president Donald Trump suggested that the Olympics 2020 should be postponed atleast for an year for good health of the world. Now as WHO declared Covid-19 as pandemic, officials all over the world were suggesting the people of various countries to stay isolated, in an attempt to stop the spread of the virus.

In this situation, an event like Olympics, which will trigger people all over the world to be in Tokyo, may make the situation worse as the outbreak may spread easily across all countries soon after the Olympics season, once the visitors go back. After spending lots of money in preparation, “Will Japan step back considering Trump’s opinion?” is yet to be known. Money vs safety!
