Why this firebrand leader is being neglected by all parties on AP?

GV Harsha Kumar is one of the most powerful and firebrand politicians in the Coastal Andhra Pradesh. This ex-MP from Amalapuram’s political career has been one of the hot topics of the state for now. Previously Harshakumar won twice from Amalapuram on the Congress ticket. He won the 2004 and 2009 elections as an MP. Harshakumar also became a close follower and the key leader for former CM YS Raja Sekhar Reddy.

After YSR’s demise, he came out of the Congress with the effect of state partition and joined the Jai Samaikhyandra Party founded by the then CM Kiran Kumar Reddy. In fact, Harshakumar, who is the sitting MP, was expected to secure a victory. Moreover, in the backdrop of the unification movement, it is expected that votes will also be cast in his favor unanimously. However, after a drastic turnaround of events, only 9,000 votes were cast and even the deposit could not be secured.

Meanwhile, Harsha Kumar became silent as the Jai Samaikyandra Party was also completely ousted. It was later reported locally that he had tried to get closer to the TDP. But, before this, Harshakumar received an invitation from YCP. But with his aggression, the YCP leaders backed down. After that, Harshakumar who is close to TDP was hoping for the Amalapuram ticket in last year’s elections. However, Chandrababu gave the ticket to the son of the late Speaker Mohanchandra Balayogi and asked him to cooperate.

CBN assured that Harshakumar would be done justice once the government forms but he denied the compromise. Now, YSRCP is in no mood to include this leader in their party. On the other side, the Indian National Congress is very desperate for some leaders who can change the derailed state and fate of their party. However, Harsha with his previous love towards the INC said that he will join the Indian National Congress and announced his grand arrival.

It has been 24 hours since Harshakumar expressed his wish but he didn’t get any confirmation from the Congress party yet. Amalapuram people still have some positivity about this iconic political personality but Congress is somehow not interested in their former leader. Will there be an opening for this firebrand leader?
