A couple of days ago, the makers of Vijay Sethupathi’s Tughlaq Durbar announced that Raashi Khanna will be replacing Aditi Rao Hydari as the female lead in the film.
Aditi was graceful enough to openly state that she opted out of the project and wished the best to Vijay Sethupathi, the director, and Raashi Khanna. She cited dates issue as the reason whe she walked out of the project.
Going into the story, it is being said that there is another strong reason why Raashi Khanna replaced Aditi Rao Hydari in Tughlaq Durbar.
As said by our sources, Aditi is charging a remuneration of Rs 1 crore for a project. The makers of Tughlaq Durbar felt this would add more financial burden in the wake of the ongoing financial recession owing to Covid-19 pandemic. So, they approached Raashi Khanna who is much more economical when compared to Aditi and the former agreed to do the project for a relatively low remuneration.
The makers then signed up Raashi Khanna and she replaced Aditi Rao Hydari in Tughlaq Durbar. The unit will be commencing shoot soon.
