Andhra Pradesh former Minister, Senior TDP leader Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao popularly known as Devineni Uma lodged a police complaint claiming that he is receiving threatening calls.
Uma who has been going overboard in alleging the government over various issues and questions their reforms constantly has been extremely disappointed and worried about these phone calls.
The Former Minister lodged a complaint with the Tadepalli Police and claimed that daily he is receiving tens of threatening calls daily. Uma himself said that he has been receiving these threatening calls for questioning the government on corruption in particular.
This is not at all a new scenario for the opposition leader and the prominent politician to receive threatening calls when they criticize the Government but getting tens of threatening calls a day is just ridiculous.
In a notable development, though Devineni hasn’t made any allegations on a particular party, the supporters of Uma feel that YSRCP Minister Kodali Nani or his henchmen are behind these threatening calls as the TDP leaders claim that all the violence happening in the state is due to the YSRCP leaders.
But, Nani’s supporters say that they haven’t been that free to threaten a leader in the opposition for making some illogical comments on the government.
