Lagadapati Rajagopal was once popular for his surveys and most of the times, his surveys turned out to be true, which is why he attained a craze for himself.
But his survey miserably failed during the recent Telangana Assembly elections. Lagadapati said that TDP alliance will emerge as victorious in Telangana and Chandrababu Naidu will take the charge as the new Chief Minister for the state. This gave an enough boost to Naidu backed media and repeatedly promoted it as best as they can. At a point of time, they even put the public into deep dilemma.
But all such surveys and promotion in Naidu’s media, has finally remained as a huge laughing stock. Forget about forming the government, TDP just won two seats in Telangana. The insulting factor is, it lost in Kukatpally constituency, which the TDP cadres take it for granted.
It was then, Lagadapati’s survey was considered as compromised with the TDP and has lost its authenticity completely. Lagadapati was trolled big time, after TRS won in the elections. Adding to it, even TRS working president KTR trolled Lagadapati by releasing their Whatsapp chats.
All these worsened the position of Lagadapati and now when the AP is facing the election heat, he is not heard anywhere till date. It seems, the affect of Telangana assembly elections and the trolls he faced during that time is still there on the ex-popular surveyor.
If at all, Naidu wouldn’t have influenced Lagadapati, the latter would have given his survey unbiased and could have retained his clean image. But he unnecessarily lost it, owing to Naidu’s offers.
AP CM anyway has his media, to support him in all the ways and cover all his loopholes, by highlighting them as the leadership qualities. But it is only Lagadapati who lost his hard earned reputation and left with no other option.
