In an interesting development of sorts, all of the Facebook-owned social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp are down. These apps are unavailable for a section of users across the globe. The majority of the users in India have been complaining about the same.
“Instagram and friends are having a little bit of a hard time right now, and you may be having issues using them. Bear with us, we’re on it! #instagramdown,” the statement from Instagram’s Twitter handle read.
“We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience.” The statement from Facebook read.
These services have been unavailable from 9 PM IST. The hashtags #Instagramdown and #Facebookdown are trending on Twitter now.
