After the Failure of ‘Family Star’, the Telugu box office is waiting eagerly for the next big release, but it seems far away. Meanwhile, several small films are hitting the big screens this weekend to test their luck.
First up is ‘Parijaatha Parvam’, starring Shraddha Das, Chaitanya Rao, Sunil, and others, with the caption “Kidnap is an art”. Directed by Santosh Kumbhampati and produced by Devesh and Mahidhar Reddy, it releases on April 19th.
Naveen Kumar Gattu brings ‘Sarapanjaram’, where he stars and directs, with Laya as the heroine. It releases on the same day, featuring a rooted storyline with an earthy backdrop. Additionally, the Kannada film ‘Maaranaayudham’, starring Malashri in a complete action drama, also arrives on April 19th.
On the OTT front, ‘Anyone But You’ hits screens on April 15th, followed by ‘Rebel Moon 2’ on April 19th on Netflix. ‘Sairan’, starring Jayam Ravi and Keerthy Suresh, releases on Disney + Hotstar on April 19th, along with the Korean project ‘Chief Detective 1958’. ‘My Dear Donga’ streams on Aha, while ‘Article 370’ is available on Jio Cinema from Friday.
