What was KCR’s point in stooping so low?

Telangana Chief Minsiter KCR hyped up the arrival of Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi to Hyderabad today, on July 3rd, for the BJP’s national executive meeting, so much, that a lot of negative publicity was done ahead of the PM’s arrival, in the state capital. The TRS government put up hoardings about the BJP and PM Modi at every step they could, emphasizing that the BJP-led central government was robbing the nation.

The TRS government even very famously flew hot air balloons in front of the parade grounds, where the PM was visiting. KCR even spoke about the PM’s visit in a negative light. His arrival was so amped up that everyone was anticipating that the PM would give a very strong comeback to the Telangana government, especially in light of all the negative publicity.

However, with the PM not making a single remark against the TRS or CM KCR, a stronger point has been made, regarding the fact that the BJP doesn’t give two dimes about the TRS. This seems to have driven a stronger point home, especially for KCR, who is aspiring to be a key player in national politics, and even trying to float a third front nationally, and even establish a national party, that he is inconsequential in the bigger picture. As such, everyone is now asking what the whole point was, in the TRS, and in CM KCR, stooping so low, as to waste so much money on negative publicity, which wasn’t even acknowledged to begin with.
