It was only on March 21st that KCR publicly admitted that he was working with political strategist Prashant Kishore, and even questioned what was so wrong with it. He said that he’s known PK for 7-8 years and that PK is not someone who works for money, but for the welfare of the country. He said that he is working with PK to get a better idea of what the people of the state want so that he could better cater to their needs.
Now, within the span of just a month, KCR is in a dilemma, with PK joining forces with the Congress party at the centre. PK recently met with Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and her children Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi and discussed a strategy for the party for the 2024 elections. As a result, KCR is said to be in a fix of what his next step should be. KCR has ruled out an alliance with the Congress several times, even recently, and considers the party to be one of his major opponents in the state.
While KCR did soften his blows towards the Congress in recent times, this is no indication that he would be okay with PK working for the Congress and the TRS. As a result, the CM is said to be considering various other plans for the 2024 elections. What they are, and how he will go about with them is something that is to be seen.
