Just like how the human beings are going crazy for the social media apps, even a Chimpanzee was spotted using Instagram.
The video which was recently out has gone viral all over the social media. Animal conservationist and influencer Mike Holston has posted the video and it has managed to get over 1.5-million views over there in a short span of time.
Chimpanzee was seen using the Instagram like a pro, clicking on posts and watching videos just like any other human being. While a few were amused at watching Chimpanzee doing all the human stuff, few others voiced out their opinion in a different way. They opined that the video shows a domesticated chimp, when they are wild animals.
Adriana Lowe, a primatologist and PhD candidate at the University of Kent in the UK said, “The animal does look like it’s in a domestic home, so it’s probably a pet, which is a really really bad idea. Chimps make dreadful pets-they’re intelligent social animals whose needs are difficult to meet, even in a setting like a good quality sanctuary.”
