Nara Lokesh was taken aback by the arrest of his father Chandrababu Naidu and he halted his ongoing padayatra as a result of the same.
However, cut to now, Lokesh is back on track again as he is set to resume the Padayatra today. He has set foot in Guntur district for the resumption of the yatra.
This will mark the commencement of an intense political campaign in the build up for TDP and JSP’s whirlwind election campaign that is to start off before the coming elections.
This would be a really important step in Lokesh’s political career as the onus is on him to project himself as a capable politician by leading a winning campaign in AP this time around.
The next challenge will be to strengthen his base in Mangalagiri so that the 2019 defeat doesn’t repeat itself again.
