The Indian politicians, enjoy such kind of supremacy, that no one from the common public would dare to raise their voice against the leaders, even though the latter fail to keep up their promises, made during the elections. The leaders of the country ignore the mere fact that a politician or in that case, anyone who achieves a superior position due to the public, is supposed to serve them during his tenure.
But the case is entirely different in the countries like Mexico. The leaders in the country, will face the heat of the public, if they fail to keep up the promises. One such incident that took place recently, is now going viral on the internet.
Jorge Luis Escandón Hernández, the Mayor of Chiapas, Mexico was tied to a truck and dragged on the road by the public, for failing to repair a local road. After vigorous trails, the police rescued the Mayor, who fortunately suffered no major injuries. The police arrested 11 people, who are involved in the act.
The farmers attacked the Mayor, twice in the past and also thrashed his office four months ago, which was the first attack from them.

Not only in Mexico, but such kind of treatment would teach good lessons to the leaders. But at the same time, it is equally important to check that the concerned officer is not facing injuries, as such acts would divert the mere purpose.
