Vijayshanthi brings 90’s magic on Sarileru Neekevvaru sets

We are all aware of the fact that Lady Superstar Vijayshanthi has been roped in to play a very crucial role in Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru.

She is making a long comeback to the silver screen with this film. It is learnt that Vijayshanthi’s role has been designed very specially by the film’s director Anil Ravipudi.

Well, keeping aside about her role, here’s an interesting scoop about Vijayshanthi’s presence on the sets of Sarileru Neekevvaru.

In a recent media interaction, ace writer Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, who is playing an important role in Sarileru Neekevvaru, shared few things about Vijayshanthi.

He said that Vijayshanthi bringing 90’s magic on the sets of Sarileru Neekevvaru.

Paruchuri said that Vijashanthi felt a bit alone on the sets as the actors are moving into their caravans after their respective scenes. No actor on the sets are sitting together and talking.

He also shared an experience with Vijayshanthi. Paruchuri said that one day when he went to Sarileru Neekevvaru sets, Vijayshanti completed one of her scenes and taking rest in her caravan.

Soon after she knows about Paruchuri’s arrival, Vijayshanthi sent her make up to call him. Paruchuri went to meet her, but she is not in the caravan. She is waiting for him under a tree.

After seeing her under a tree, Paruchuri asked her why don’t you sit in the caravan. To his question, Vijayshanthi replied that she likes to sit under the trees in her free time.

She said that in the 1990’s during the shootings, we are all used to sit under trees and we used to share about personal and professional things. But, now all the actors are going to take rest in the caravans in their breaks.

Paruchuri also said that when they both are talking, many actors joined their conversation and they all happily had lunch under the tree, which made Vijayshanthi to feel nostalgic.

On the other hand, the shooting of Sarileru Neekevvaru has been going on at a brisk pace. Sarileru Neekevvaru is directed by Anil Ravipudi and bankrolled by Anil Sunkara under 14 Reels banner.

Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead and the film is set to hit the screens on January 12th, 2020.
