‘Ose Ramuamma” fame Vijayashanti, has made light of the TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao’s tall claims over deciding who will be the next Prime Minister.
She wondered how can stake such tall claims he can with just 16 LS seats, while the SP-BSP with 60 in UP even dare not. She alleged, KCR is only trying to confuse electorate back home. “How can he have any say with 16 seats?” she asked a gathering during her campaign on Sunday.
She advised KCR to stick to his promise and confine to state politics to fulfill promises he made to them, instead making false and farce claims over playing ‘king maker’ role after polls in forming the next government at the Centre. To drive home her point, she said it’s TDP, which is sharing dais with national party leaders and majority of regional parties are allying with the Congress.
Vijayashanti challenged KCR to name which are the parties, who agreed to join hands with him. “None,” she claimed as no one is showing any interest to join hands with his so called ‘Federal Front’ or ‘national party’. He is day-dreaming to play an important role in national politics. She said KCR may end up joining the NDA after polls as he will be left with no other alternative.
However, the renowned actor admitted that the Congress is facing difficult times in the state as their MLAs are deserting the party reasons known to them. But, she reminded the people that such ‘difficult’ times, indeed her Congress party had gone through in the past, but managed to overcome with a bang.
She said the people of Telangana will repose back confidence in the Congress party as it alone can fight the divisive and fundamental forces like the BJP and protect the nation’s ‘secular fabric’.
