Actress turned Vijayashanthi, is all set to come back to BJP, as reportedly, her prominence in the Congress party, is gradually decreasing.
BJP National secretary Muralidhar Rao met Vijayashanthi and convinced her to join in the party. The official spokesperson of the party, Krishna Sagar Rao has clarified that the date and time of her joining in BJP are yet to be finalized.
Vijayashanthi, who was the chairperson of the Telangana Congress Campaign Committee acted as the star campaigner of the national party during the Assembly elections of Telangana, held last year. As Congress is aiming big in the upcoming Huzur Nagar by-elections, it considered Vijayashanthi as the right option to campaign in the constituency.
But unfortunately, as she is quitting Congress, the party is now finding it tough to trace a suitable candidate to campaign in the by-elections. On the other side, the BJP which does not have any great chance to show the impact in Huzur Nagar, is considering getting one such, by asking Vijayashanthi to campaign for the BJP candidate in Huzur Nagar.

Vijayashanthi has started her political career with BJP in 1997 and later floated her own political party in 2005 and merged with the TRS later. But the things went wrong with the Telangana Chief Minister KCR quite early and she had to shift her loyalties towards Congress. But finally, the firebrand leader choosing to go back into BJP, is a perfect example to say that no one is a permanent enemy and permanent friend in the politics.
