It is known that Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh will be joining hands for an action thriller which is tentatively titled Fighter. This project commenced shoot last year and if it wasn’t for Covid-19 pandemic, it would have released in theaters by now.
There is well over 40% of the film left to be shot. However, Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda are in no hurry to kick-start the shoot anytime soon.
Apparently, the shooting of Fighter will commence only after Sankranthi.
It is said that Puri and Vijay want to negate the risk of Covid-19 transmission and they will start shoot in January only after assessing the situation.
Fighter unit is planning to go to Bangkok early next year to shoot a couple of action sequences. If things aren’t favorable, they will be shooting in special sets in Hyderabad.
It is all but confirmed that Fighter shoot will commence only after Sankranthi festival season.
