Veteran actor Kaikala Satyanarayana passes away

It is indeed a sad day for the Telugu film industry as it lost one of the most popular and versatile actors today. Veteran actor Kaikala Satyanarayana, who had been suffering from age-related health issues for sometime, breathed his last in the early hours of Friday at his residence in Filmnagar, Hyderabad. He was 87.

As per reports, Satyanarayana passed away at 4 o’clock this morning. His body will be kept for the public and family members to pay their last respects at 11 AM today.

Satyanarayana’s last rites will be performed at Mahaprasthan in Jubilee Hills tomorrow, family members said.

Born in 1935 in Kavutaram village of Krishna district, Satyanarayana shared screen with legendary actors like NTR, ANR, Krishna, Sobhan Babu, among others. He acted in more than 777 films in his 60-year career.
