In a recent interview, ace producer Naga Vamsi hinted that either Rukmini Vasanth or Tripti Dimri might star as the lead actress in Vijay Devarakonda’s upcoming film, VD12, directed by Gautham Tinnanuri. Originally, Sreeleela was set to play the lead role.
However, Tripti Dimri’s high demands and unavailability of dates, along with Rukmini Vasanth’s commitments to another film, have complicated the casting process.
Sreeleela, the initial choice for the movie, has expressed her willingness to return at her previous remuneration. If Tripti Dimri’s negotiations fall through, Sreeleela might reclaim her role.
Budget discussions are also underway, aiming for a regular shoot schedule starting from the first week of April. The production team faces decisions regarding both casting and budget as they move forward with
VD12.
