Tamil star Vijay’s Varasudu is reporting strange numbers at the box office. Tamil media reports are saying that the film has grossed over Rs 290 crore already and it is set to touch the Rs 300 crores gross mark soon.
Well, the film’s run came to a close in AP and Telangana last week itself. Even the Tamil market is not contributing much after the lucrative first two weekends. The overseas run has also closed already and it is a below-par fare there.
But strangely, the film’s numbers are continuing to be spiked up drastically. Only last weekend, there was an announcement that the film had grossed over Rs 250 crores. Now, they’re already claiming that the film is nearing Rs 300 crores gross. One can only wonder where these additional numbers are coming from.
