Valliddari Madhya Review: Tests your patience

Director VN Aditya, who is known for films like Nenunnanu, Manasantha Nuvve, Aata, Boss, etc, has come up with a film after a long time, titled Valliddari Madhya. The film features Viraj Ashwin and Neha Krishna in the lead roles. The film has been released today, and let’s see how it has turned out to be,

Story:

The story revolves around the leading pair, who fall in love with each other. The twist of the plot is that there is not real villain for this love story, but the love story itself. The lovers themselves turn villains for their love stories, with the alter ego of the pair driving the love story. What complications arise due to this, and what happens in the end forms the rest of the story.

On-Screen Performances:

Viraj Ashwin looks good in the film, but his performance has fallen very flat. He fails to show any real emotion in the film, and has not been able to handle playing two variations of the same character in the movie. This shows through very clearly in the film, especially when he shares screen space with other proven actors like Srikanth Iyengar.

Leading lady Neha Krishna is also barely entertaining, and fails to portray any kind of emotion properly. She comes off as fake, and is highly unbelievable in her character. She also failed to portray two variations of her character simultaneously in the film.

The supporting actors are just about okay, with Srikanth Iyengar being the only recognizable and impactful actor and character in the film.

Off-Screen Talents:

Director VN Aditya has carved a niche for him in the industry, with feel good films, all of which are loved to date. While he has chosen a good concept this time around, he has failed to execute it properly, and has even failed to get any good performances from his actors in the film.

The music and background score can’t be remembered for a second after out come out from the theatre. The production design is alright, and the editing is quite bad. The cinematography is average.

Plus Points:

  • Srikanth Iyengar

Minus Points:

  • Lead pair performances
  • Screenplay
  • Execution

Verdict: Valliddari Madhya truly tests your patience and is one film that you’re better off if you skip entirely.
