With OTT taking leaps and bounds in the recent times many film makers are releasing their films both in theatres and the digital platforms to rev up profits.
In this regard, the film ‘Valasa’ too will be released simultaneously in theaters and OTT on January 8. The film directed by P Sunil Kumar Reddy, is about the hardships experienced by migrant workers faced during covid-imposed Lockdown. It is presented by Kalakar Productions under the banner of Shravya Films and produced by Yekkali Ravindrababu.
The team has officially announced that the film stars Manoj Nandham, Teju Anupoju as the lead pair wherein Vinay Mahadev and Gauri as another couple.
Speaking on the occasion, the producer said, “We have prepared our film for release on January 8 internationally through Amazon Prime and in theaters in the Telugu states on the same day. The film is set against the backdrop of migrant workers who made their livelihood on the road due to the lockdown.
“Not just the hardships of migrant workers, in this film we show many emotions that run in their lives. It contains a beautiful love story of a nice family as well. We have touched on all aspects of this film like real life comedy, the pace of struggle for survival. We are confident that the audience will like the movie ‘Valasa’ .. ”, the director added.
