Dil Raju opted to give Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab early digital release after the film’s theatrical run came to an abrupt end in the wake of surge in Covid cases. The film is releasing on Amazon Prime at 12 AM tonight.
If reports are to be believed, Dil Raju is pocketing Rs 12 crores in accordance with the early digital release agreement he signed with Amazon Prime Video.
According to this agreement, Amazon agreed to pay Dil Raju an additional Rs 12 crores if the film was permitted to stream on the platform before it completed 50-day theatrical run. Now that Vakeel Saab is premiering on Amazon Prime Video just 20 days after its theatrical release, Amazon is paying the clause amount.
