Powerstar Pawan Kalyan‘s Vakeel Saab is the first big-ticket Telugu film post Covid-19 outbreak. Billed as the comeback film of the actor after three years of hiatus, Vakeel Saab kept the cash registers ringing at the box office on day 1.
The film collected massive 300K dollars from its premiere shows in the USA. Reports revealed that the film grossed $300,215 from 226 locations and become the highest-grossing Indian film on the premiere day that was released in the USA this year.
Recently released comedy entertainer ‘Jathi Ratnalu’ had collected $132k from premiere shows. Needless to say, the Pawan Kalyan starrer has surely registered impressive numbers, despite limitations on occupancy in the USA.
The movie is directed by Venu Sriram, produced by Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations in association with Boney Kapoor. The film also stars Sruthi Haasan, Anjali, Nivetha Thomas, Ananya Nagalla and versatile actor Prakash Raj.
