In the recent times, the Kumbh Mela drew flak among none-Hindus and atheists who condemned it with a presupposition that it could be a trigger factor for Covid virus spread. Many positive cases too were reported in a week, succeeding the event.
In this context, the Uttarakhand police busted couple of illegal business that provided fake covid test reports. Police on Thursday booked a private office and two labs for supposedly giving a bogus rapid antigen test reports during the Kumbh Mela in Haridwar with an expectation to make monetary benefit.
This comes after Chief Medical Officer (CMO) S K Jha presented an objection to the police referencing that a three-member panel board, set up by the Haridwar region judge, presented a primer report on Wednesday — almost a month after the state health department office was sent a grievance from ICMR on May 14. The objection notified about an individual’s Aadhaar and contact number being utilized for a Covid-19 test even without their presence.
According to the CMO’s objection, the firm made false records to make benefit. The panel tracked down that the firm made an enormous number of entries on a similar sample ID, for example, 3,825 examples being gathered from single location and 56 individuals enrolled with same telephone number.
