We are up to the much-awaited cabinet session in which the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy introduced the decentralization of the capitals. The proposal started in the initial stage of the meeting and Jagan is doing his best to make it pass without any worries.
As a part of the procedure, Jagan adopted some tactical approaches towards this controversial decision. Under which Amaravathi will be Legislative capital, Executive (Ruling) capital Vizag, Judicial capital Kurnool. Vizag will be having Raj Bhavan, Secretariat and HOD offices. Govt will rule from Vizag – Minister Buggana Rajendranath reddy announces in AP Assembly.
“Ministers will be available in Amaravathi and Vizag, Local zones (Zonal development boards) will be built for every 4 districts in AP,” Minister Buggana announces. Here comes the problem, if these things do force into an act, there will a lot of unemployment in the Andhra Pradesh without a proper center for administration and the secretariat wing will be under tremendous pressure in providing job opportunities for graduates.
Jagan’s theory didn’t support any cause regarding this issue as the AP CM is solely focussing on the decentralization theory in a state which has only 13 districts. No Indian state as big as AP hasn’t adopted this kind of theory for its all-round development. The opposition is trying its best to curb the things right under the nose of the ruling party.
