UK PM Race: Rishi Sunak wins a key debate over Liz Truss

In the race for the election of Britain’s next Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak of Indian descent scored a surprise win with a studio audience at a key debate with his rival Liz Truss.

In the TV debate, both the candidates explained why they are eligible for the post of Prime Minister. Speaking on the occasion, Rishi Sunak said, “There is a need to control inflation before reducing taxes. Because if inflation increases further, mortgage rates will increase. All our savings and pensions will evaporate.”

After that, Liz Truss also explained her version. After the arguments of both were completed, the audience in the studio voted for the suitable contestant. Most of them voted in favour of Rishi Sunak.

Meanwhile, a survey revealed yesterday that Liz Truss is ahead in the Prime Minister’s race. According to the results of this survey, 58 percent of Conservative Party members support Liz Truss, while only 26 percent support former minister Rishi Sunak. However, it remains to be seen what happens next.
